Veit Relin

… was born on September 24^th, 1926 and is an all-rounder. He has a wonderful voice, was a tenor, but eventually became a painter and an actor playing on all big stages, among others also at the Burgtheater in Vienna. His workshop theatre in Vienna with its avant-garde repertoire caused a little revolution in the theatre world. Desire Caught By The Tail caused a worldwide stir and the premiere of Bertolt Brecht’s Baal was also a sensation. In short: my father is a connoisseur of the art of living and has been managing the Torturmtheatre in Sommerhausen very successfully for the last 30 years.
